Two 13-year-old boys have been charged after police chased a stolen DPD van through a town in South Lanarkshire.
Officers received a report of a van theft being driven through Cambuslang around 9.30am on Monday.
Footage shared with STV News appears to show the van being driven with police cars in pursuit.
The vehicle, the driver and a passenger were traced in the Elder Drive area a short time after, police said.
George AllisonTwo boys, both aged 13, were arrested and charged in connection and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Monday, August 11, 2025 we received a report of a stolen van being driven in the Cambuslang area.
“The vehicle, the driver and a passenger were traced in Elder Drive, Cambuslang, a short time later.
“Two boys, both aged 13, were arrested and charged in connection and will be reported to the relevant authorities.”
