Traffic has been brought to a standstill amid a serious crash in Lanarkshire.
The A725 is currently closed southbound between Belziehill and Bellshill due to the collision.
Police were called to the scene at around 12.25pm on Wednesday. Officers remained on the dual carriageway at 2pm.
Traffic Scotland said vehicles were stationary on the approach to the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.25pm on Wednesday, March 8, police were called to a report of a road crash on the A725 at Bellshill. Police are currently at the scene.”
