A town high street in South Lanarkshire has been locked down after a pedestrian was struck by a lorry.
Emergency services were called to Lanark High Street at around 2.50pm on Monday.
The pedestrian’s condition is unknown at this stage.
The High Street has been closed in both directions and diversions have been put in place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.50pm on Monday, July 3 2023 police received a report of a crash involving a lorry and pedestrian on High Street, Lanark.
“Emergency services are at the scene and High Street has been closed in both directions with diversions in place.”
