A toddler has been left permanently disfigured after being struck by an e-bike on a footpath.
The three-year-old was hit by the bike on the public path in February and was left seriously injured following the collision.
Officers have seized an e-bike in Clydebank in connection with the incident.
A man has been charged in connection with the Road Traffic Act legislation.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “An e-bike has been seized in Clydebank after it was identified as part of an enquiry into an incident in February.
“The incident involved a three-year-old who was struck by an e-bike, whilst on a public footpath, causing serious injury and permanent disfigurement.
“The male identified has been charged with the associated Road Traffic Act legislation and is due to appear in court at a later date.”
