A kitten has been rescued after getting its head stuck in a brick in South Lanarkshire.

The six-week-old, named Yogi, was brought to Clyde Vet Group Small Animal Hospital in Lanark after he managed to get his head trapped in a hole in a brick overnight.

His worried owners brought the “aspiring brick layer” straight to the vets, where he stayed “incredibly calm” the whole time.

The team at the animal hospital managed to free Yogi after some sedation and lubrication.
