Five people have been charged in connection with the death of a man found injured in the east end of Glasgow.
Craig Watson was pronounced dead at Whitevale Gardens, Dennistoun, just after midnight on Sunday morning shortly after being discovered badly hurt.
Three male teenagers, aged 15, 17 and 19 years old, and two men, aged 20 and 30 years old, have been arrested and charged.
Mr Watson was found in the residential area after becoming involved in what police say was an “altercation with a number of people”.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, Police Scotland said.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Five men aged 15, 17, 19, 20 and 30 years have now been charged in connection with the death of 39-year-old Craig Watson in Whitevale Gardens, Dennistoun on Sunday, April 17.
“The five men are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 21 April. A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Previously, detective chief inspector Cameron Miller, Major Investigation Team, said: “Information can be passed to officers via 101 quoting reference number 0126 of Sunday, April 17, 2022. Alternatively, details can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“We have also set up a website that gives members of the public access to a form to send information directly to the Major Investigation Team. You can also share any videos or images that you believe may be relevant. You can select to remain anonymous when submitting information.”
