Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash in West Dunbartonshire which has closed a section of a road.
Emergency services, including a trauma team, were called to a collision involving two vehicles on the A82, near Bowling, at around 12.40pm on Friday.
Three people have been taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
The A82 is restricted southbound and lane one is closed at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, we were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A82, near Bowling.
“Three people were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.53pm on Friday, 16 January, to reports of a road traffic collision on the A82, near Bowling.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the scene to assist partners in making the area safe.
“Three casualties were taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12.39 to attend an incident on A82, near Bowling.
“Two ambulances, two special operations response teams (SORT) and a trauma team were dispatched to the scene. Three patients were transported to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.”
