Police ScotlandTwo men and a woman have been arrested over an alleged abduction plot in a Glasgow suburb.
Police were called to a flat block in the Maryhill area of the city following reports that a man had been taken.
Officers were on scene at around 5pm on Thursday, August 27.
It’s now been confirmed that three people – two men and one woman – has been arrested in connection.
The alleged abductee was later traced safe and well. Police say enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: “On Thursday, August 27, two men – aged 55 and 48 and a 31-year-old woman were arrested in connection with a report of abduction in the Maryhill area of Glasgow.
“A man was later traced safe and well.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.
“Officers will remain in the area while this investigation continues and anyone with any concerns, or information, should speak with them.”
