Three men have have been taken to hospital following a disturbance at a block of flats in Paisley.
Emergency services, including armed police, were called to reports of a disturbance on Stevenson Street around 7.45pm on Monday.
Two men, aged 33 and 35, were taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment while a 48-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
The men remain in hospital for treatment and their conditions are currently unknown but all three have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45pm on Monday, September 2, police received a report of a disturbance in Stevenson Street, Paisley.
“Officers attended and two men aged 33 and 35 years were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and a 48-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. The three men are currently being treated in hospital for their injuries.
“Three men aged 33, 35 and 48 years have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
