Three men have been arrested following a disturbance in Glasgow city centre.
Police locked Union Street down between Gordon Street and Argyle Street for almost four hours after the incident on Monday evening.
Road users were advised to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the report of a disturbance in Union Street in Glasgow at around 10.13pm on Monday, May 4.
“As a result three men were arrested.
“Union Street was closed for a short time while the matter was dealt with.”
Glasgow City Council confirmed the road was eventually reopened at 2am on Tuesday.
A spokesperson from the local authority stated: “This police incident was closed at 2am and Union Street is fully open.”
