Three men have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man was left seriously injured in Glasgow.
Police shut down parts of Mansionhouse Road in the Shawlands area of the city on Sunday, as part of an unknown and ongoing investigation.
It was then revealed it related to an alleged murder bid on a man in Pollok on Sunday, August 13.
A 35-year-old man was discovered with serious injuries and was later taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Scott Troy, 40, Dylan Haldane, 34, and Liam MacDonald, 34, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
The trio appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, charged with assault to injury, permanent disfigurement, permanent impairment, danger of life and attempted murder.
None of them made any plea, and were remanded in custody.
They will next appear in court in eight days.
