Three men were arrested after a man was taken to hospital with a head injury following a disturbance in East Kilbride.
Police Scotland confirmed they received a report of a disturbance at The Murray Square, at around 2.55pm on Wednesday.
Emergency services took one man to Hairmyres Hospital after he suffered an injury to his head.
His current condition is unknown.
Officers confirmed that three men, aged 28, 30 and 37, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance at The Murray Square in East Kilbride around 2.55pm on Wednesday, October 19.
“One man suffered an injury to his head and was taken to Hairmyres Hospital.
“Three men, aged 28, 30 and 37, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
