A third person has been arrested in connection with the death of a grandfather who was murdered in a Glasgow flat.
The 38-year-old man has also been charged in connection with the incident following a police operation in Falkirk on Wednesday.
Brian Maley was found dead within a flat on Young Terrace, Springburn, on February 8.
A man and a woman have already appeared at court charged with the 52-year-old’s murder.
Both Maria Gardiner, 45, and James Houston, 33 made no plea at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
The pair, of Glasgow, have also been charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Earlier on Wednesday, detective chief inspector Stuart Grainger, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said: “Our thoughts remain with Brian’s family at what continues to be a difficult time for them.
“I would also like to thank the local community for their patience, help and assistance during our investigation and to those who came forward with information.”
