Terminal V announces electronic music festival will be held at Clydeside Live in 2027

An electronic music festival has revealed it will move to an “exciting” new venue in Glasgow for its tenth anniversary in 2027.

Terminal V, previously held in Edinburgh, will now take place at Glasgow’s new open-air event site, Clydeside Live.

Organisers EE Live announced that the festival will take place from Friday, June 4, to Sunday, June 6 next summer for its first three-day event.

Terminal V announced its move from Edinburgh to Glasgow earlier this year, but the festival’s exact location had not been announced.

Clydeside Live, set on the banks of the River Clyde, is now poised to become a new destination for live music and events in Glasgow, hosting a varied programme of seasonal attractions and entertainment.

Alongside its flagship Scottish location, Terminal V have launched Croatian and Australian editions of the event.

Terminal V co-founders Derek Martin and Simon McGrath said: “Finding the right home for the next chapter of Terminal V was hugely important to us, and from the moment we saw this site we could see its potential.

“The scale, the riverside setting and the industrial landscape around it feel completely aligned with Terminal V and give us the freedom to create something we simply couldn’t have done before.

“We’ve seen venues like Silverworks Island demonstrate just how exciting these large-scale outdoor inner city spaces can be for electronic music, and we believe Clydeside Live has the potential to become one of the most exciting new outdoor event destinations in the UK.

“For our tenth anniversary, we have the opportunity to build the festival from the ground up, rethink our stages and production for the setting and create an experience that feels distinctly Glasgow while still being unmistakably Terminal V. We can’t wait for people to see what we have planned.”

A full line-up for the festival will be released at a later date.
