Emergency services are at the scene of two grass fires near the Devil’s Pulpit.
Scottish Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene on the A809 after two fires were reported in the area on Saturday.
The first incident was reported at 12.03pm before a second fire was reported at 12.57pm.
A total of six fire crews are currently tackling one blaze while four are tackling the second nearby.
The SFRS said the fires do not appear to be linked but each started in the grass.
There is no note of any injuries at this time.
Police are also in attendance and are urging drivers to find alternative routes.
A spokesperson for the force said: “A stretch of the A809 is closed at junctions B821 and B834, near to the Devil’s Pulpit, due to a large fire.
“Emergency services are in attendance. Please avoid the area and use alternative routes.”
