A teenager who disappeared while on her way to school in Renfrewshire on Monday has been found safe.
Police confirmed on Tuesday night that 14-year-old Ava Barclay from Paisley, who had not been seen since making her way to school at 8.50am on Monday, had been found safe and well.
Officers have thanked the public for their help.
In a statement, Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that 14-year-old Ava Barclay, who had been reported missing in Paisley, has been traced safe and well.
“The public are thanked for their assistance.”
