A teenager has been charged with attempting to murder a 51-year-old man.
Brian McKillop, 18, allegedly assaulted James Britton in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, on October 20 this year.
Prosecutors state McKillop repeatedly punched and kicked Mr Britton to the head and body on Farmeloan Road.

The charge claims McKillop attempted to murder Mr Britton and robbed him of prescription medication.
On Friday, McKillop made no plea at a private hearing in Glasgow Sheriff Court.

He will next appear at court within eight days.
