A teenager has been left injured after he was attacked by a gang of youths in Glasgow.
The 17-year-old was on Auchinairn Road, near Bishopbriggs, when he was approached by several other teens just after 6pm on Sunday.
The victim was assaulted and left requiring hospital treatment.
Police attended the scene after receiving reports of a disturbance and are now investigating the incident as they look to trace those responsible.
Officers are asking anyone with information on the attack, or anyone who witnessed it, to contact them as soon as possible.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called around 6.05pm on Sunday to a report of a disturbance involving a group of youths in Auchinairn Road, Glasgow.
“A 17-year-old male was injured and attended at Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information is asked to call us on 101.”
