A teenager is fighting for his life following a crash on the B743 in East Ayrshire.
The 19-year-old was driving a blue Ford Focus car when it was involved in a serious crash around 6.45am on Friday.
The teenager was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
His condition has been described as critical.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash to come forward.
Sergeant Chris McColm of Road Policing said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone who can assist.
“If you were in the area around the time of the crash please check your dash-cam to see if you have captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
