Google MapsA teenager has been charged after a man was allegedly hit by a car that then drove off in Johnstone.
A 34-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck on Thorn Brae around 12.30am on Saturday.
Police have now confirmed that a 17-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, June 10.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0140 of June 8, 2024.”
