A teenager and a man have appeared in court charged with assault and robbery following an incident in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to the Springfield Road area around 10.15pm on August 15 following reports of the incident involving a 28-year-old man.
A 17-year-old boy appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday where he was charged with assault to injury and robbery while on bail.
James Carter, 40, from Glasgow also appeared in court charged with assault to injury and robbery.
Both men made no plea and were remanded in custody. They are expected to appear before court again within the next eight days.
A 28-year-old man was also arrested and charged in connection with assault.
While investigating the incident, officers discovered the body of a man within a flat on Springfield Road.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing establish the full circumstances.
“At this time, officers are treating the incidents as linked.”
