Google MapsA teenager has been arrested and charged after a 16-year-old girl was raped at a property in Dumfries and Galloway.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, was initially reported as having occurred at Agnew Park in Stranraer.
However, following extensive enquiries, police said the incident is believed to have happened within a property in the east end of the town.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Stranraer Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
