Two teenagers have been charged in connection with an assault to severe injury in Ayrshire.
On July 29, a 47-year-old woman was attacked on Main Street in Prestwick at around 8pm.
Police Scotland said that two 15-year-old girls have now been charged in connection.
A report will be sent to the Scottish Children’s Reporter and Procurator Fiscal.
The force added that reassurance patrols shall continue this weekend across known hotspots within South Ayrshire to identify anyone involved in antisocial behaviour.
