A teenage girl has been raped at a park in Glasgow.
Police are investigating the serious sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in the Springburn Park area around 9.10pm on Friday.
Officers remain at the scene as of Saturday afternoon and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing after we received a report of the serious sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in the Springburn Park area of Glasgow around 9.10pm on Friday, 26 June, 2026.
“Officers remain in attendance while enquiries are carried out, and anyone with concerns or information can approach them or call 101, quoting incident number 3845 of June 26.”
