Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl was assaulted by a man in Paisley.
The 18-year-old girl was walking through the playing fields at Glennifer Road, near to Donaldswood Road, at around 2am on April 1 when she was approached by a man who assaulted her.
The girl was left distressed by the attack but didn’t require hospital treatment.
Detectives are now searching for the man responsible who is described as white, around 5ft 8ins in height, and of skinny build. He was wearing light grey clothing.
Detective Sergeant Craig Anderson said: “Our enquiries into the full circumstances of this incident are ongoing.
“I’d appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and saw a man acting suspiciously or matching the description given, to please contact us.
“I would also urge anyone with dashcam or personal footage to check it in case it holds anything relevant.
“If you have any information at all, no matter how small you think the detail might be, please contact us and let us determine that. Your information could be essential to this inquiry.”
