A football fan has admitted doing a Nazi salute at an Airdrie and Partick Thistle match.
Lewis Baillie, now 22, made the gesture at Firhill Stadium in Glasgow’s Maryhill on January 22, 2022.
The Jags hosted Airdrie that day in a Scottish Cup match in which the home side went on to win 1-0 despite going down to ten men.
Court papers state Baillie, of Airdrie, Lanarkshire, conducted himself in a disorderly manner at the stadium.
The charge claimed the then 19 year old performed a Nazi salute.
The paperwork goes on to state Baillie then, while acting with another, engaged in a fight and commited breach of the peace.
Baillie pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the charge aggravated by religious prejudice.
A not guilty plea was accepted by the Crown to a separate charge of assaulting an unknown man by punching him to the head.
