Google MapsA teenager is in hospital after being found with “serious injuries” on a street in Inverclyde.
Emergency services were called around 4.20am on Monday to a 16-year-old male found with serious injuries in the King Street area of Port Glasgow.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing, police said.
Chief inspector David Doherty, Area Commander for Inverclyde, said: “Around 4.20am on Monday, September 21, 2026, police received a report of a 16-year-old male found with serious injuries in the King Street area of Port Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
“Anyone with information, possible CCTV or dashcam footage from the area is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident 0369 of September 21.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
