Teen charged with attempted murder of man near gas works

A teenager has been charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Dumbarton.

A 29-year-old was taken to hospital with a number of stab wounds in the arms and chest following an alleged attack at a dirt track at Castlegreen Street on Saturday, April 17.

Police have now confirmed an 18-year-old man has been charged in relation to the incident.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
