A teenager has been charged after a laser pen was aimed at a police helicopter.
Officers said the incident took place on Thursday, February 8, in the Renfrew area when a laser pen was directed at a helicopter operated by Police Scotland.
A 14-year-old boy was then charged in connection with the incident, the force said.
A Police Scotland statement read: “This is a very serious crime endangering the safety of an aircraft and its crew.
“Don’t do it.”
