A teenager has appeared in court following the attempted murder of a man in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance involving three vehicles and a male pedestrian on Ashgill Road on Monday, June 23, around 6.55pm.
The 22-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a car and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Officers previously said they believed the incident was “targeted” and there was no wider threat to the public.
Regean Higgins, 18, was charged with assault to danger of life and attempted murder when he appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
The 18-year-old, from Glasgow, did not enter a plea.
He was committed for further examination and granted bail.
