A teenager has appeared in court accused of pushing a woman into the path of an oncoming train.
Andrew Wason, 19, allegedly assaulted the victim at Glasgow’s Hyndland railway station on April 20, 2024.
Court papers claim Wason pushed the woman from the platform into the path of an approaching train.
This is said to be to her injury, danger of life and attempted murder.
Wason appeared in the dock at the High Court in Glasgow.
He was represented at the hearing by his defence counsel, Allan Macleod.
No plea was tendered to the single charge, and a further hearing was fixed for later this month.
Mr Macleod told the hearing: “There will be two psychiatric reports available.”
