A teenager has been charged after reports of a youth with a knife at an East Dunbartonshire Asda store.
Emergency services were called to the supermarket on Kirkintilloch Road in Bishopbriggs at around 10pm on March 9.
Officers charged a 13-year-old in connection with possession of a knife. A report is due to be submitted to the the relevant authorities, police said.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10pm on Sunday, March 9, 2025 we were called to a report of a youth in possession of a knife within premises in Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.
“Officers attended and a 13-year-old was charged in connection. A report will be sent to the relevant authorities.”
