A swan has caused chaos on the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow after it flew onto the crossing and refused to move out of the way of traffic.
The bird was spotted swanning about on the M8 over the Clyde shortly before 10.30am.
In an image shared by Traffic Scotland the swan can be seen standing before a 4×4 blocking its path.
Drivers were warned to approach with care if travelling eastbound on the M8 as the web-footed animal caused cars to come to a standstill in a stand-off on the carriageway.
But shortly after 10.30am, the swan was retrieved and traffic was back on the move.
