A suspect accused of murdering a man and dumping his remains in two locations has appeared in court for a second time.

David McColl allegedly assaulted Graham Wright, 38, at a property in Glasgow’s Gorbals between August 20 and September 13, 2025.

The 50-year-old was back in the dock again at Glasgow Sheriff Court today/yesterday.

He was fully committed for trial. No further date was set meantime.

Prosecutors state McColl left Mr Wright “fatally injured” by means unknown.

McColl faces a separate accusation of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

A separate accusation states that McColl attempted to defeat the ends of justice.

The allegation claims he “dismembered” Mr Wright’s body and disposed of it and in secret in a wooded area in the city’s Castlemilk as well as Loch Lomond.

McColl, of Glasgow, further faces two charges of breaching bail.

McColl had initially appeared in court earlier this month where he had made no plea to the accusations.
