A murder suspect has denied knifing a man to death.
Thomas Reilly, 43, has been accused of murdering Andrew Linton in Easterhouse, Glasgow, on December 3, 2019.
Prosecutors claim Reilly initially attempted to hit the 43-year-old victim before striking him on the body with a knife or similar item.
Reilly is separately accused of assaulting a woman on the same day.
Reilly denied the charges during a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday.
No trial was set. A further hearing was instead fixed for September.
