Suspect charged in connection with death of man found inside home

Officers have charged a suspect in connection with the death of a man found in a Glasgow home.

Emergency services were called to a property at Glenraith Square, Craigend around 5.45pm on Tuesday, March 17, following concerns for the occupant.

A 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and has been named as David Smith.

Police Scotland launched a murder investigation following the discovery.

A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday
