STV NewsA suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Clydebank in 2024.
The body of Alistair Brennan was discovered within a property in the Overtoun Court area on October 17, 2024.
Police have charged a man on May 18 in connection with the death. He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Bomb squad attend scene
A Royal Navy bomb squad attended a flat in Overtoun Court after a “suspect item” was discovered during a search in connection with the unexplained death.
A 26-year-old man was charged in connection with a firearms offence following the discovery of the device on October 29, 2024.
Police said at the time that there was nothing to suggest that the item found in Overtoun Court was linked to the investigation into the death.
