A suspect has been charged after a man was taken to hospital following an alleged disturbance at a Glasgow home.

Emergency services were called to the property on Arcadia Street in the city’s Bridgeton area at around 6pm on Monday.

Officers traced a 28-year-old man who was taken to hospital for treatment. A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He has been released on an undertaking and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Monday, July 20, 2026 police were called to a report of a disturbance within a property in Arcadia Street in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow.

“A 28-year-old man was traced and taken to hospital for treatment.

“A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

“He was released on an undertaking to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.”
