A suspect has been arrested after a man died following being seriously injured in a disturbance involving several men in Glasgow city centre.
Police were called to Royal Exchange Square, near the Duke of Wellington statue, around 3.05am on Sunday, following reports of the incident.
Daniel Colrain was found seriously injured and taken to hospital, where he died on Monday.
On Wednesday, police confirmed a 19-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the 21-year-old’s death.
STV NewsA second 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with the disturbance at the time and released pending further enquiries.
Another man, aged 21, was also assaulted and sustained minor injuries during the incident.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
Police cordoned off the area connecting the square with Buchanan Street and Queen Street following the incident.
