Suspect arrested in Scotland after 'murder' of Motherwell teen in Northampton

A second suspect has been arrested in Scotland following the alleged murder of a Motherwell teenager in Northampton.

Khadeem Parris, 16, died as a result of a stab wound at an address in Adnitt Road in the Abington area just before 7pm on July 7.

On Thursday, officers arrested a 20-year-old man in Motherwell, he currently remains in custody.

A second man, Fuad Mohamud, 21, appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on July 14 and a plea trial date at Northampton Crown Court has been set for August 17.

A 19-year-old man, a 56-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remain on police bail, pending further inquiries.

Khadeem’s relatives said: “Words can’t explain how we feel at this time. We cannot understand it and we are utterly heartbroken at his loss.

“Khadeem, we love you, we miss you and you will always be in our hearts.”
