Police ScotlandA suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in South Lanarkshire on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the Hope Road area of Kirkmuirhill at around 3.30am following reports that a 39-year-old man had been found dead.
The family of local man Adam Lawson has been notified of his death.
Officers have arrested a 40-year-old man as part of the investigation into the death.
Enquiries are still ongoing.
