A man has been arrested and charged following the death of a 35-year-old on a street in Renfrew.
Emergency services were called to Tennant Street at around 4.20pm on Saturday, after receiving reports of an injured man.
The 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers confirmed that a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of an injured man on Tennant Street in Renfrew around 4.20pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
“Officers attended and a 35-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death. He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, May 15.”
