The Glasgow PatterA suspect has been arrest after reports of a man wielding a bladed weapon near a Glasgow flat block.
Emergency services were called to Tinwald Path in the Hillington area of the city at around 12.50pm on Tuesday.
Officers attended and carried out a search of the area. A 49-year-old man was arrested in connection.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing. There were no reported injuries.
“Around 12.50pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, we received a report of a man in possession of a bladed weapon on Tinwald Path in Glasgow.
“Officers attended and no injuries were reported.
“A 49-year-old man was arrested in connection and enquiries remain ongoing.”
