A suspect has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed on a street in Glasgow.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident in the Hawthorn Street area of Springburn at around 11.10pm on Thursday.
A 52-year-old man was taken to hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries. Officers have arrested a man, aged 55, in connection with the incident.
An investigation into the reported blade attack is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.10pm on Thursday, October 16, we received a report of a man injured in the Hawthorn Street area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the 52-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“A 55-year-old man was arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
