A suspect has appeared in court accused of murdering a man outside his own home.
Kyle Potter, 25, allegedly assaulted Paul McMinigal, 44, at a block of flats in Glasgow’s Parkhead on July 24.
Court papers state Potter – who lives in the flats – stabbed Mr McMinigal on the body with a knife or similar instrument.
The charge goes on to say that Potter had previous ill will towards Mr McMinigal.
Potter made no plea during a short private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He was represented by his lawyer, Stephen Bentley.
Potter was committed for further examination and remanded in custody by Sheriff Louise Arrol KC.
Potter will appear at court again within the next eight days.
Mr McMinigal was found at the building seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
