Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Eccles Street at around 8.25am on Wednesday, January 29, following the sudden death of a woman.

Officers said the death is being treated as “unexplained” and that enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “Around 8.25am on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, we were called to Eccles Street, Glasgow following the sudden death of a woman.

“Her death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
