Holidaymakers travelling from Glasgow to Ibiza were delayed upon arrival after two passengers were removed from a flight for “disruptive behaviour”.

The Jet2 flight was due to land in the party island on Friday afternoon, but Spanish police had to be called onto the plane after landing.

It is understood the flight arrived in Ibiza 40 minutes late.

The two “disruptive” passengers were subsequently removed by Spanish police officers.

A Jet2 spokesman said: “We can confirm that Spanish police boarded flight LS119 in Ibiza on Friday, August 30 to offload two disruptive passengers.”
