Smoke has been spotted billowing from a corner shop as more than 100 firefighters tackle a major blaze in South Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to the Nisa store on Baronald Street in Rutherglen around 6.40pm on Thursday evening.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said over 100 firefighters and 22 appliances were sent to the scene.
Road closures have been put in place while crews tackle the fire.

Members of the public have been urged to close doors and windows and are asked to avoid the area at this time.
Xxjayzeexx/vyromediaA Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Over 100 firefighters are currently tackling a fire on Baronald Street in Rutherglen.
“We were alerted at 6:19pm on Thursday, May 7, to reports of a building fire.
“Operations Control have mobilised 22 fire appliances and additional specialist resources to the scene of the fire which is affecting a commercial building.
“Crews remain at the scene.
“Nearby residents are asked to close windows and doors as a precautionary measure, and people are asked to stay clear of the area.
