Simple Minds have announced their return to Scotland with their biggest headline show in 34 years.
The Scottish band will be kicking off the next leg of their Global Tour with a headline show at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.
The gig will mark the band’s biggest UK headline show in 34 years, since their Real Life tour in 1991.
To complete the line-up, they will be joined onstage in Glasgow by special guests Future Islands, KT Tunstall, and Hamish Hawk.
The announcement comes after the success of the recent leg of their Global Tour, which kicked off in 2024.
The new dates will include a run of summer 2025 outdoor shows in the UK and Ireland, followed by several Italian shows, and more dates to be announced.
Frontman Jim Kerr said: “Simple Minds live in Glasgow, the city that made us, is always a glorious occasion for both band and fans.
“Live in Bellahouston Park is destined to be all of that and more… It cannot come soon enough!“
