STV NewsA man has been taken to hospital following a serious assault in Glasgow city centre.
At around 3.05pm on Tuesday, March 7, police received a report of a disturbance in the city’s Gordon Street.
The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and police enquiries into the attack remain ongoing.
After the incident, two police vehicles and a cordon were seen in the area.
A Police spokesperson said: “Around 3.05pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance in Gordon Street, resulting in one man being seriously assaulted.
“The man has been taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and enquiries are ongoing.”
